Nonito Donaire (23-1, 15 KOs) was in command all the way before landing a blistering left uppercut to knock down Manuel ‘Chango’ Vargas (26-5-1, 11 KOs).
Meanwhile, Ciso “Kid Terrible” Morales and Gerry “Fearless” Peñalosa were beaten by their latino opponents while Bernabe “The Real Deal” Concepcion and Mark Jason “MJM Grand” Melligen were victorious in their undercard fights.
