Broadcasting network ABS-CBN will hold a local telecast of the “The Big Showdown” between Puerto Rico’s Juan Manuel “JuanMa” Lopez and Mexico’s Rafael Marquez on Sunday.
The Big Showdown boxing card, which headlines the World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight title fight between Lopez and Marquez, will be shown on Channel 2 at 10:15 a.m.
There will be a replay at 2 p.m. on Studio 23 and again at 10:45 p.m. on Channel 2.
The unbeaten Lopez will be defending WBO title against the 2-time world champion Marquez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday (Sunday in Manila).
The heavy-handed Lopez holds an unblemished record of 29 wins with 26 knockouts, while Marquez has 39 wins (35 KOs) and 5 losses.
The 12-round title fight is promoted by Top Rank, in association with PR Best Boxing, Zanfer Promotions, Gary Shaw Productions and Showtime.
