Louie Favila is ‘The Ultimate Hotman’ in"SEARCH FOR THE HOTMEN 2010"

THE Board of Judges chaired by Philippine Star entertainment editor and TV hosr Ricky Lo chose upcoming fashion model LOUIE FAVILA as “The Ultimate Hotman,” besting seven other Top Hotmen chosen from among the 29 aspirants who competed in last night’s sexy, all male musicale search at Metrobar along West Avenue in Quezon City.

--Most Photogenic: DANNIEL DERAMAYO;

--Walker Hotman: RANDY SIMON;

--Flawless Hotman: JOEY ORIG;

--Chancellor 9000: KEN VILLANUEVA;

--Circle of Friends awardee #1: LOUIE FAVILA;

--Circle of Friends awardee #2: JAY-R CRUZ.

The other celebrity jurors were: multi-awarded film/TV director, manager of Masculados MARYO J. DELOS REYES; Palanca Awardee, stage and TV director and writer FLOY QUINTOS; producer, director and talent manager MANNY VALERA; manager of Sex Bomb JOY CANCIO; actress, TV host PAULEEN LUNA; EB Babes member SAIDA DIOLA; RUBBY SY of Flawless; Walker promotions manager MARILEN PENARANDA; designer MAXI CINCO; President and CEO of CHU Productions and Circle of Friends HARRIS UY; club magnate, owner of Klownz and Zirkoh LITO ALEJANDRIA.

Special Judges GENE CIRIACO, CADE GUERZON and JINKY ILUSORIO of GRAMM Entertainment Productions; and JERRY OLEA, entertainment editor of Tonite Abante, were called on to break the tie for “The Ultimate Hotman.”

Funnyman and TV host Arnell Ignacio hosted the two-and-a half hour show and kept the audience laughing despite the long wait for the results while the jurors deliberated.

The 29 candidates did musical numbers “N’Sync Medley of Songs,” “Payong” and “No Touch.” Guest musical trio Sakto composed of lookers Edgar Allan Guzman, Lucky Mercado and Rodjun Cruz, and the EB Babes did an intermission number each to the viewers’ delight.

The winning 8 Hotmen will be formed into an all-male sing-and-dance group. They will undergo rigid training on singing, dancing and emceeing to make them well-rounded performers.

The criteria for the selection of the winning Hotmen were: Looks, Personality, Stage Presence, Audience Impact, and Performance.

In an earlier pre-pageant held at Zirkoh Greenhills, on November 23, 24 entertainment editors/writers, and sponsors chose their Hotmen. Scores in the pre-pageant were added to the scores in last night’s pageant.
