Mark Salling of musical comedy-drama television series "Glee" is in the country. To be exact, he is currently in Boracay.
At 6:06 p.m. on Christmas Day, he tweeted "Merry Christmas from the beautiful island of Boracay".

The buzz about Salling spending the holidays in the Philippines has been spreading on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
On December 21, around the time that the cabin crew union of local carrier Philippine Airlines was awaiting the labor department's decision on their labor case, Twitter posts with keyword "flight attendants" included posts of Salling's pictures with the airline's flight crew.
Various sightings of Salling in Boracay led fans to tweet about the "hot" Glee cast.
Travel blogger Ivan Hernandes also tweeted at almost 6 p.m. Saturday that he "was on a South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) flight to Caticlan with Glee star Mark Salling. Hope you have fun in Boracay!"
Salling plays Noah Puckerman, or Puck, in the hit TV series that featured Charice Pempengco, an international singing sensation who is a Filipina.
Another Glee star with Filipino roots is Darren Criss who is in Manila to spend time with his relatives. He also performed in Glorietta and Trinoma malls.
