'What Love Is' topbills Martin and Sarah G.

The most talented and highly recognized total performers of the year will come on stage next year, February 12, 2011. The Valentine Concert will serenade the big dome, Araneta Coliseum with love songs and performances from the Popstar Princess, Sarah Geronimo and the Concert King, Martin Nievera.

‘What Love Is’ Concert is superseded by Viva Entertainment’s Big Boss, Vic del Rosario, and Viva Concerts. The concert will be showcasing the beauty of music in the Philippines while serenading you this coming Valentine’s month. Fans, supporters and music lovers will be seeing the good chemistry of the two most popular singers of this generation.

When asked why it is only a one night concert, the Concert King shared, “...second day is a lot more reasonable now. ‘Hold mo yan a. Baka mamaya mag two days or something.’ You never know.”

As a matter of fact, Martin Nievera disclosed a trivia: Pops and Martin had two shows at Araneta Coliseum, the same day, in the history of the big dome.

Martin had already serenaded fans with Regine Velasquez in 1994 and 2003 at Ultra. “I’m excited about this. It’s like the same guy has able to do this twice. With Regine, and then someone who I think Sarah has “today Regine”. Endorsements, hit songs, concerts, she does everything”, Martin sharing his sentiment regarding the anticipated collaboration.

On the other hand, the Popstar Princess shared her excitement. “Ansarap ng pakiramdam na you’re next with Sir Martin, the great singer, performer, at yun, soon, magkakasama kami sa isang concert. Siyempre andun yung takot kasi baguhan palang po ako at marami pa po akong kailangang matutunan, keep up with Sir Martin.”

In terms of moral support, Sarah Geronimo assessed that the Concert King has been a good influence to the new batch of singers. “He’s been very supportive, si Sir Martin noon pa. Noon pa man sa ASAP. Nakakagulat dahil ang isang Martin Nievera ay napakasupportive sa young, sa generation namin, generation of singers. Nararamdaman din namin sa ASAP at yun ang pagkakakilala ko kay Sir Martin.”

The concert, produced by Viva Concerts, will settle the issue once and for all. Tickets are available at P4,000 (Patron A), P3,500 (Patron B) , P3,500 (Lower Box), P1,500 (Upper Box A), P1,000 (Upper Box and P400 (General Admission).
