International singing sensation Charice has confirmed that her character, Sunshine Corazon, is a recurring role in the American hit TV show “Glee."
After performing the Lady Gaga song “Telephone” with the series’ lead star Lea Michelle and “Listen” as her audition piece in the second-season premiere of Glee, a number of "Gleeks" asked if Charice’s character will reappear on the show.
In an interview with Tina Monzon-Palma on ANC’s The World Tonight on Tuesday, Charice said Sunshine will definitely be back.
“Yes po, babalik pa po ako sa iba pang episodes kaya po nandito pa po ako hanggang ngayon kasi nagshu-shoot pa po ako,” Charice said.
Although she advised her fans that she won’t be appearing on the Britney Spears episode that will air in the Philippines on Wednesday, she encouraged everyone to follow every episode of the show as it has a good storyline.
“Pero sinasabi ko na po wala po ako sa second episode which is the Britney Spears episode. Wala po ako dun, kasi marami pong nagtatanong sa akin. Hindi ko na po sasabihin kung ano pang episode na wala ako. Just watch the whole season 2 and sobrang nakakatuwa yung story. Marami pa pong episode ang makikita niyo with Sunshine Corazon,” she added
‘Best scene’
Charice considers her audition scene as the best scene in the second-season premiere.
According to her, that scene felt different since the whole cast was present. She also revealed that the cast’s reactions on her rendition of “Listen” were genuine and authentic.
“For me po super the best scene po talaga nung kinanta ko yung “Listen” kasi nandun po silang lahat, kumpleto po iyong cast. Sabi nga po nila, totoo nga daw po yung reaction nila dun. Masasabi ko po talaga, yun po yung best na shinoot ko po sa buong episode na yun,” Charice admitted.
“Natural po yun, hindi po sila binigyan ng directions po. Pinuwesto lang po sila tapos sabi lang po ng director na just do whatever you want, sige kung anong reaction ang ibigay niyo. I mean, except po of course kay Lea Michelle, kailangan po talaga ganun yung reaction niya,” she added.
